Strawberry Sour Cream Bread
Directions
For the bread:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Combine wet and dry mixtures, then fold in strawberries.
Pour into loaf pan and bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool completely before glazing.
For the glaze:
Mix strawberries, powdered sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
Drizzle over cooled bread.
Optional Add-Ins
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Less sugar for a thinner sauce
