DIY Glass Skin Serum with Aloe Vera and Rice Water
Make the Rice Water:
Rinse ½ cup of white rice thoroughly to remove dirt or excess starch.
Add the rinsed rice to 1 cup of water.
Let it soak for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Strain and collect the water in a clean container. This is your rice water.
Mix the Serum:
In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of rice water with 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel.
Mix well using a spoon or whisk until the texture is smooth and slightly gel-like.
Pour the serum into a small, clean bottle or jar with a lid.
Store:
Keep the serum in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for up to 5–7 days.
Shake well before each use if it separates.
Apply:
Cleanse your face thoroughly.
Apply 4–5 drops of the serum to your face and neck using clean fingers.
Massage gently in upward, circular motions until fully absorbed.
Use twice daily — once in the morning and once at night.
