Cream Cheese Cake Recipe
Step 1: Prep & Preheat
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour an 8- or 9-inch round cake pan.
Step 2: Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add the sugar and beat until well combined.
Mix in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated.
Stir in the vanilla extract and melted butter until the batter is smooth.
Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Step 4: Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 5: Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
Cool completely, then slice into wedges. Serve plain or with your favorite toppings.
