Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Place pie crust in a 9″ pie plate. Crimp or decorate edges if desired.
2. Whisk eggs, milk or cream, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until smooth.
3. Layer ham, 1 cup of cheese, and green onions evenly into the crust.
4. Pour the egg mixture over the filling. Top with remaining ½ cup of cheese.
5. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is fully set.
6. Cool slightly (5–10 minutes), then slice and serve warm.
Notes
No ham? Try cooked bacon, sausage, or even smoked salmon.
Dairy-free? Use your favorite plant-based milk and dairy-free cheese.
Crustless option: Grease the pie plate and skip the crust entirely for a gluten-free version.
Add veggies: Mushrooms, spinach, bell peppers—just make sure they’re pre-cooked and not too wet.
Cheese swap: Gouda, Swiss, Monterey Jack, or feta work beautifully.
