Baked Sweet Baby Ray’s Chicken Drumsticks
Directions
Step 1: Preheat Oven
Heat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
Step 2: Season Chicken
In a large bowl, toss drumsticks with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
Step 3: Bake
Place drumsticks on the prepared sheet. Bake for 25 minutes.
Step 4: Add Sauce
Remove from oven and brush generously with Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce. Return to oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, until chicken is fully cooked and sauce is caramelized.
Step 5: Serve
Let rest a few minutes before serving warm.
Variations & Tips
Add cayenne pepper or chili powder for heat.
Bake drumsticks plain and serve sauce on the side for picky eaters.
For a slow cooker version: season drumsticks, cover with barbecue sauce, and cook on low 6–7 hours or high 3–4 hours.
